The Smok Quantum is the first mod that we’ve seen that supports OTA updates. Thanks to it’s built-in bluetooth technology you can pair this device with your smartphone and use the included app. The app is available for both Android and iOS and when you’re connected it will automatically check to see if there’s a firmware update available. If an update is available it will prompt you to update your Smok Quantum 80W mod, and all you have to do is click “ok”. No need to plug into a USB on your PC or anything so it doesn’t get much easier than that to keep your device up to date with the latest firmware!

Another unique feature this Smok Quantum 80W box mod has is the missing fire button. While that may sound odd, the button is actually part of the battery door. So all you have to do is squeeze the mod to fire your atomizer. It goes all the way up to 80 watts which seems to be the max on a single 18650 battery, plus it has temperature control for all 3 of the common wires. The battery door is held in place by magnets so you can swap it out with ease. Plus, if you’re like me and absolutely require all your atomizers to sit down flush, then you’ll be pleased to know you’ll get that with this Smok Quantum 80w box mod.
